Additions have been made since the initial shutdown and the site now covers 1830 -> 1880. It will not proceed further until more playdates data has been filled in for the current range and maps upgraded. Get involved.
A new membership programme is being incorporated. Contributors are those who wish to donate data, don't want to be too involved, but would like to follow certain parts of the system and be advised of updates, etc. Researchers are those who want to be more involved and have access to all the internal benefits of the system. This level requires weekly upkeep.
Public viewers will still have complete access to all regular data. Members just get to see the background processes and on-going research.

Itinerary

It's unknown how changes to the itinerary affected the overall timing of this tour because nothing has been found to indicate an entire schedule prior to July 15.
Instead, the tour was advertised in sections or legs.
The only change to the first leg, was the insertion of Aylmer into the schedule, thus necessitating advancing the date for London. It didn't affect any other advertising because the next ad wasn't posted until July 22 and this correctly indicated the new date for London. Therefore the decision in insert Aylmer was made after the July 15th ad was sent for posting, and before the July 22nd ad was submitted.

The second leg, advertised July 22nd, had no changes.

The third leg, advertised August 07, contained only one noticeable change. Hastings was substituted for Norwood. It was nearby and would have required no substantive change to their journey. No reason is known for the change.
While this was the only noticeable change, Howes had obviously decided to insert Sterling into the route (between Trenton & Belleville) at some point as it was written into his route book along with the name of the hotel where he would be staying; the Sterling House. This would appear to have been changed at the last minute as the troupe then spent an unscheduled extra day in Belleville. (The route book entry was simply written over with the word Belleville)

A serious flaw has been found in the route book data supplied by Richard W Flint[1]. The ad which ran in Port Hope on Aug 16 lists the show date as Aug 21, NOT the Aug 19th date as shown in the route book. Lindsay (Aug 22) replaces Millbrook in the schedule and Peterborough is shown as Aug 23. This has yet to be verified by additional ads but throws doubt on the entries in the route book.
